Enzzo’s Competitive Matrix helps you analyze competing products, uncover market gaps, and refine your product’s positioning. With AI-driven insights, Enzzo automatically identifies key features of your product and gathers real-time competitive data, allowing you to make informed product development decisions.
 
This guide will walk you through accessing, customizing, and analyzing your Competitive Matrix in Enzzo.

Step 1: Create a Product in Enzzo

You can access the competitive matrix feature through a couple different ways. 

1. The competitive matrix is build into the gate structure and will be automatically generated for you when working through the tasks in the Opportunity Screening Gate. 
2. The competitive matrix can be generate independently in a non-gate generated product.

3. The competitive matrix can also be generated through the quick action in the Ask Enzzo chat. Enter the desired product and Enzzo will quick-generate the matrix for you. Because it is quick-generated this matrix might not be as specific to your desired product as the stage-gate matrix. 

Step 2: Explore the Competitive Matrix
 
Once inside the Competitive Matrix tab, Enzzo automatically:
Identifies key features of your product.
Gathers data from competing products for comparison.
Displays a side-by-side breakdown of feature sets and positioning.

This AI-powered comparison allows you to quickly assess where your product stands in the market.


Step 3: Analyze Your Competitive Positioning
 
Assess Product Competitiveness
  • Click “Is My Device Competitive?” to have Enzzo analyze the strengths and weaknesses of your product against competitors.
  • This feature helps you understand how well your product is positioned in its category.
 Identify Differentiation Opportunities
  • Click “How Do I Differentiate?” to receive AI-driven recommendations on how to improve your product.
  • Enzzo suggests changes that will help your product stand out in the current market landscape.

Step 4: Customize the Competitive Matrix
Add or Remove Competitors
  • Click on a competitor’s name (top cell in the column).
  • Choose to add a new competitor or remove an existing one from the matrix.
Add or Remove Features
  • Click on a feature name (left-most cell in a row).
  • Select add or remove to modify the feature list.
  • When adding a new feature, Enzzo will automatically search the web and update the matrix with each competitor’s standing on that feature.
